  Nigerians have taken to social media to call out billionaire Aliko Dangote for selling his bag of cement for N5200 in his own country but selling at N1500 in Benin Republic. A Twitter user identified as @drpenking called out Dangote for selling his bag of cement for N5200 in Nigeria despite the fact that the raw material is sourced locally in Nigeria. According to the Twitter user, the billionaire needs to explain why he sells at a higher price in Nigeria but sells it at N1500 in seme, Benin Republic. He tweeted; “Dangote cement is produced in Nigeria . The raw material is sourced locally in Nigeria at almost zero cost. Nothing is imported. Almost zero taxes yet the price of cement is 5,200 Naira in Nigeria and same is sold in Seme, Benin Republic at 1,500 Naira.  Popular Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, has urged fans not to easily give up on the “worst people” they come across in their life journeys. He said some of their “biggest blessings” might be in the hands of such people. The ‘Calm Down’ crooner gave the advice via X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday. Rema wrote, “Some of your biggest blessings might be in the hands of the worst people you might ever come across. In our generation of quitting on people early, just remember that there’s a reward for the steadfast, and your presence in their lives might be the true lecture they need.   A bride, identified as Rebecca Oyedotun, slumped and died on her wedding day in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. The tragic incident happened on the eve of the deceased bride’s wedding while having her bridal shower with her friends. According to the father of the dead bride, Evangelist Oyedotun of C&S Reformed Church, Isale-High School, the bride did not show any previous signs of illness until she slumped at about 10:30 a.m. Before she passed on, the deceased bride was supposed to marry Abiodun Oluwadamilare on Saturday, 19th August 2023. According to the groom’s sister, preparations were in full swing before the tragic event happened. “The groom’s parents had slaughtered their cow at Ogbomoso, and being an only child, Abiodun, the groom, was excited, unaware that disaster was hiding around the corner. Permanent Secretary, Lagos Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources, Lekan Shodeinde, who signed the statement said the heavy rainfalls are expected between August 14 and 18 based on a flood alert advisory issued by the Flood Emergency Warning System (FEWS) Central Hub of the Federal Ministry of the Environment. This is too real, Our God is great and awesome. This picture above with a child of one year plus that was picked up by some Soldiers in Sambisa forest. This child was spotted crawling in the bush by some soldiers that thought the child was used by some people to ambush them. They comb the Bush but found no one. So after a while, they watched the child crawled into a big hole after playing, tired and maybe hungry. They followed him gently as he entered the hole. The Soldiers looked inside the hole and saw a decomposed body of a woman from her waist down her feet, while from her stomach to her head was fresh, though dead. This child crawled into the hole when he’s hungry to suck his mother’s breast, after which, he comes out to play. God is wonderful and worthy to be praised. God preserved that part of his mother’s body to feed the child, and only God Almighty knows how long ago it happened. God kept that child day and night from wild animals. The body of a suicide man who jumped into the Lagos Lagoon from Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge two days ago has been recovered, emergency officials have said. Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, told PM NEWS on Thursday that the Agency responded to a distress call when the man jumped into the Lagoon.
